When we lived in Orange County and in his district, I once called to office to see to a matter involving a family member, a WWII vet, buried in Belgium. Though the matter could have been handled easily, neither he or his staff ever responded to repeated requests for assistance. We finally go help by going to another O.C. congressman.
If someone would call into a radio show with him as a host, they would normally mention their hometown. b would take that as a cue to go into twenty minute discourse on the history of the town, the closest air force base, the unit headquartered there, the planes at the base, their range and capabilities. When he was finished with this, he finally got aroung to the caller's question and it was time for a commercial.
I finally concluded that the guy may be a conservative, but he sure is a pompous windbag.
