Why should we settle for just RIGHT-WING HOT AIR? The left wing listeners don't listen to radio.
That would take too much thinking.
Left wingers prefer soap operas that they can watch at home while adding to their obesity.
Right wingers are working or comuting and radio helps stimulate and relax at the same time.

Lefties do listen to the radio but not in large numbers.
Mainly they listen to NPR. Given that NPR is basically on life support, that tells you just how many are listening out there.

...whether corporate domination is good for the airwaves
Would radio really be destroyed if station owners had to respect the diverse voices of their local communities?
...statistics that suggest the Republican "landslide" of 1994 stemmed largely from the increased polarization of one demographic -- right-wing talk listeners.
Is the conserative domination of the radio any different from the liberal domination of the media? Nope. Except that more people listen to the news and read the newspaper than listen to the radio.
What do you mean "respect"? At least on the radio, someone can call and answer back. Even Rush Limbaugh talks to liberals, though only to prove that he's right and they are just a bunch of losers who are still furious that they lost Florida to Bush.
Umm, what landslide? Clinton won, didn't he?
