Do I want to vote for a National Guardsman who's shown tremendous leadership for our military, our country and national security OR do I want to vote for a VietNam vet (with a rather short deployment) who came home, joined up with anti-war activists and publically stated his opinion that the US should not only make substantial monetary reparations to Hanoi, but utilizing lock-step UN thinking advocated pulling all US troops out of VietNam and THEN try to negotiate for the release of US Pow's?

Under the logic that GWB was "AWOL," then Kerry deserted under fire in a time of war by "running away" from his 1 year minimum deployment. He used the pull of his contacts in the Dim party, namely the Kennedy's, to fake an injury for his 3rd purple heart, awarded for an injury that did not lead to any downtime, and got to split after only half the deployment that other, less well connected Americans did. How many American's died in his place because he ran away to protest in the streets of America with Jane and Tom, while calling those that stayed behind baby killers?
