Indeed.
Dean started to come unglued when he bone-headedly said that catching Saddam didnt make us safer.
Then the coalition military made great progress post-capture in going after insurgents.
Now we have a great opportunity to ask how a "law-enforcement" approach could catch the Al Qaeda fighters protected by the taliban.

Isn't this kind of statement which started Dean to unravel?The same core philosophy underlies Clinton, Dean, and Kerry - that it is not a legitimate to use American military power in pursuit of American interests. They all cut their teeth during Vietnam and view the world through that opaque filter.
