As I type this I hear the (reassuring) sound of our military aircraft flying high over the city.

Also reported by Fox News. Didn't catch the flight numbers, though.

Curious that this doesn't rate an elevated alert since the scenario seems identical to the one during the holidays.

John Kerry tells us not to worry about this stuff ~ it's just overblown.
One plane goes down and the Dems will have to nominate Lieberman.

Increasing the alert level costs tons of money, and really wears out the LEO agencies' employees, not to mention the folks who work in other areas of emergency services who have to go on higher staffing levels.

One plane goes down and the Dems will have to nominate Lieberman. Please, don't even go there. I for one do not hope that hundreds of lives are snuffed out just to make a political point.

Probably have to give up their moonlighting security jobs.
To: tgslTakoma
I know that's true, but all hell will break loose if something happens on a yellow.

What I'd like to know is why they can't wait until people board the plane, the grab the bastards.
