250,000 barrels a day is next to nothing. It would be far more expensive to extract than many other places in the world. I think the U.S. is more interested in oil in Chad and West Africa. (Incidentally Sudan didn't know it had oil until they were told they had in 1974 by George Bush. snr...)

Oh Bush Sr. should have kept his mouth shut about that oil:) Oh well... at least SOMETHING is being done. Can hardly complain about that I suppose
