but I don't see that you're doing any good for yourself by worrying about illegal immigrants taking over the country Well my kinfolk didn't want the British to take over America in 1776, so "they fought the bloody British" and ran them back to Charles and Diana's home. I have a picture of the grave stone of a relative who fought in the war. He rests on top of a mountain in western Kentucky, and he had the honor of being buried in a free America. I'd like the same. He was 15 when he joined up, and I think I owe his memory something.
I am not making myself unhappy. And I have written to my elected Reps; it takes time for things to work out. Anyhow, I've never been called a part of the silent majority in my life. And won't be.

Well, as long as you're writing your representatives then I believe you are contributing to democracy. And as long as it doesn't make you unhappy thinking about the fact that you can't recall every politician you don't like, then have at it. I'd hate for you to make yourself upset but if it's not having that effect on you, then I don't suppose there's any problem with it.

Yeah and I had two grand fathers who served. One at Valley Forge....He spied in the Hessian Camp (remember the Christmas Attack---that was because of his bravery) The other served at Fort Pitt......SO there!
But I had other relatives (German) who snook across the Texan border just so they could have a better life for their ancestors. Guess that makes part of me illegal too.....
