It took the Democrats 60 years to establish their global socialist agenda. We've barely controlled Congress for a decade and the White House in a fraction of the time. Undoing the work of the Left is not going to be accomplished in the time President Bush spends in office. Its going to take at least a generation, perhaps two or more. Those who love liberty mustn't throw in the towel but roll up their sleeves and look forward to the long fight against the Left. While its discouraging, it can be done. To quote Edmund Burke, all it takes for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. Its time to recall why we're conservatives and although the work was not given to us to finish we are not free to desist from it either.

If the GOP controls the Congress, the Senate, and the White House, and is pushing a socialist agenda, then when it the wheel supposed to start turning back in our favor, when the Dems control it? Right now, the GOP is pushing us farther left than is acceptable and does not even try to fight for fiscal common sense that most people support. They are no different than the Dems when it comes to taxing and spending.

We are not going to get everything we want immediately. We are displaying the the very thing we criticize about the youth of today...the desire for instant gratification.
In due time we can get most of everything we want for our nation, but we have to realize we have to take the unstable foundation apart one brick at a time and rebuild it in a stable fashion that will stand the test of time.
Giving in to the desire for instant ratification only strengthens the Liberals'hand. You think that you don;t like some of the socialist programs proposed now, just wait until the Democrats gain control of the White House and Congress again! See what your votes for a third party candidate will get you. While it may make you feel like you are getting revenge, you are in fact dooming any chance for the conservative agenda to survive.
Just remember, all in good time.

Exactly.
We need to vote in the November election as if our lives depended on the outcome, because with the WoT, they do!

It may have taken the democrats sixty years, but it took Dubya only three years to take one of the most gigantic steps toward nationalized health care since World War II.
