Have you ever heard of the word, now listen to me, legal immigrants? Have you ever heard of obeying the law?

These are the kind of immigrants we have here in my town. Law-abiding, hard-working, wanting their kids to get ahead. Just like my cousin's husband's family is.

I recently noticed two of them posting here at FR.

I'm just pointing out that we need to remember the large number of legal immigrants who did obey the laws and who are good immigrant stock, like anybody else's forbears. Like my own German grandfather. Their story is our story.

Good grief, its like talking to a Democrat when Bill Clinton was be-boppiin on Monica.

Do you really expect this country to survive as a free nation, even for the "hard working, law abiding legals", when our politicians refuse to close down the borders and begin to deport those who are here illegally?

I'm telling you, every American is going to pay a heavy price for what the politicians have done. Even the legal immigrants.

You are right, but it doesn't mean diddly squat when we are discussing the massive influx of illegals that our children are going to have to deal with in the years to come.

Make no mistake about it: The national politicians are not going to close the borders. It will be up to each state and its people to protect themselves. Some will have the courage to do so, others will not. That is the American way, I guess.
