The two Bush mistakes that have the greatest chance of permanently destroying the Republic would be CFR and the amnesty proposal.

CFR is more a reflection of the state of the Congressional representatives and the Supreme Court. Ultimately it is a reflection of the state of the American people. Bush was ideologically against CFR but foolishly signed it. There is nothing that can be done except to repeal it in Congress or challenge it with a more conservative Supreme Court. Having a Democrat president would not have prevented CFR, for those of you proposing gridlock.

The amnesty proposal is just that, a proposal....for now. How to fight the scourge of illegal immigration? AGAIN, in the Congress. Congress is also the key to getting more conservative judges.

What a mess. I'll never forgive Bush and the Republicans, as well as those slimy Democrats, for giving this country away, NEVER. How dare they! When are the Republicans going to become anything but pissyant bunglers?
