We have about nine months until the election. Based on this thread will this be the main topic of discussion until then? It seems that one side of the table believes that GWB has let us down, (I believe there is no disagreement here) and the other side believes that he is better that the alternative any day no matter what. The problem here, as I see it, is that it gives too much power to those who wish to do harm to the Nation, the Constitution, the culture, the rule of law, and to our freedom. I believe we need to at least agree that GWB is indeed flawed and that he does have time to reverse course and begin to do the dance that Conservatives do when they indeed want conservatives to vote for them. Invoking the word of God and the name of Jesus isn't enough for me to vote for a man who has systematically acted anti-constitutional in many of his actions.

The problem as many see it is that most of us know that W probably knows everything we are saying, and might on some level agree with us, but is pandering and acting like the politicians we despise and hoped he would not be. But in the end, he is a typical politician, and we must deal with that fact as reality. I have not decided what to do in November. But if W continues this garbage for another nine months, I can't see how anyone in good conscience can say that our kids will depend on him getting re-elected.
