I have kids too. And the future I see for them is one of being pushed out of own their country by GW's amnesty plan and open borders policy.
If Bush doesn't change his mind and close down the borders, five years from now we and our children will be aliens in our own land. Our social services destroyed, our schools overrun, our politicians will be Hispanic and as loving and caring as Al Sharpton. And the worse thing will be that our votes to get good people in office will mean nothing, because the voting system will be trashed, more than it is now.
Just what does it take from Bush for him to convince you that his core political principles are farther left than Clinton's? Does he have to divorce his wife for Andrew Sullivan? Does he have to nationalize a few industries? Does he have to raise the income tax to a top bracket of 75%? Does he have to push for universal healthcare? What does he have to do? He's pushing for funding increases in every single left wing area except abortion grants. Dear God, riff raff like him may keep us sorta independent but we'll become domestically like Argentina in the process.

But please, when it comes time to vote please please vote! Our kids future depends on it! I don't think anyone really understands how very important it is not to let a liberal in the white house!
The problem is that there are no viable choices that aren't liberals when it comes to domestic issues and discretionary spending.
I'm not advocating staying home, but there has to be a way to get the message to the Republican Leadership.
Black voters turn out in large numbers for Democrats and get nothing in return. If Conservatives don't want the same fate, we need to find some way to get the message to Republican party leadership.
Either that or we need to vote Republican until the Democrats are totally crushed, and fund the development of a more conservative alternative to the Republicans that can fill the void when the Democrats finally Whig out. That last alternative might be the best, but it will take some real conservative leadersihp to pull it off.
