"We now have a largely or partially misinformed electorate." That is the classic self important, liberal elitist mantra. It isn't possible their opponents know what is going on and take a different viewpoint. Why, that is impossible. They need to "enlighten" us. It's that condescending attitude that makes you just want to slap them up side the head and scream. What makes this election so much fun is that when it is over they are going to stand around staring at each other with glazed eyes, stupified by the realization that we just didn't give a rat's ass what they told us about the "Nazi" Bush. All his money will not buy him squat. And so much for the Democratic party screams for election reform. I guess when one man is spending billions on your party you kinda forget about how much it corrupts the process.

What gets me is the way the liberal media talk about the Bush family being manipulated by shadowy business interests, Big oil, the Jews, Halliburton, you name it. Yet we have this creepy Soros right out in the open using his ill-gotten gains to manipulate politics, and not once have I read a solid investigation of how he got to where he is.

I didn't say what kind of accent Henry has. I just said Soros sounds like him. I listened to him interviewed for almost an hour on the Diane Rheem show, and that's I thought.

I wondered why Soros had become so opposed to Bush. It didn't make sense until this week.

When Saddam was distribution vouchers for illegal Iraqi oil, George must have been very involved. Now, he wants to get rid of Bush before W discovers the connection, and replace Bush with an "easy" (is there any other kind) democrat.

I'm don't know but would bet it worked like this. Saddam sent oil in an unofficial pipeline to a port in Syria. Lots went to Assad. But Saddam distributed vouchers to others. You'd take the voucher marked "deliverable on demand" to tank farm master along with your oil tanker (Greek registry?) and fill up. You then sell the crude in the open market and deliver it to the refinery of choice.

A market in voucher must have developed. Saddam got something, probably untraceable/spendable cash in accounts all over Europe. And, the voucher holders got the discounted amounts and probably paid a lot because of the risks. So, maybe, they only got 50% of the current spot crude price. They'd sell futures and guarantee delivery. Very quickly, this could add up to big money even for a billionaire. But, if he were well connected in international markets and knew how the games could be played at the margins, it would be fun and profitable.

That's my bet. George is dirty and wants to get the sheriff before the sheriff gets him.

Soros's Hungarian accent isn't as thick as Lantos', but he sounds more like him. I'd tell you who else he sonds like, but few would recognize their names.
