Interesting poll. A random sample of 628, after Kerry posts big wins and big media in Iowa and New Hampshire, and he only polls to a dead heat with Bush.

That doesn't bode well for Kerry moving forward, IMO.

We seem to have some pretty sophisticated poll watchers in this thread and there's something I've been wondering about that somebody may be able to answer. Polls have shown that a large majority of people believe that Bush will win re-election. How does this effect reelect numbers? I suspect that at this point people are more likely to support a challenger if they don't think he actually has a chance.
