Without controvery.

Wouldn't the Flat Earthers object to astronomy? I think astronomy is a very controversial subject. Why do kids need to know that kind of stuff anyway? Stars and galaxies- pshaw! That's something they could study at college isn't it?

A course on personal finance would really help a lot of people. Half of the wreckage of lives I see in courtrooms are because people don't know how to save or invest or spend wisely. Knowing that implicit interest can be usurous or how fast debt can compound on 19.8% interest on credit cars would spare a lot of people grief. Of course Muslims would object to learning about interest since it's forbiden in the Koran (no wonder Muslim country's economies are generally worthless without oil).
