You can't shoot anthrax. :/

I've only read the title of this. I won't read any further. Mr. Boortz needs to ask himself "Wouldn't it be nice NOT to be afraid of what your President is doing?" and forget comparing him to terrorists? Ridiculous!

I don't believe anyone here claimed that ALL of the spending has been on national security. A good bit of it undeniably has been.

Nor can you kill every single solitary Muslim on the face of the planet, even though that's the only way to stop Islamic terrorism.
'Course, that won't stop good ol' fashioned, Timothy-McVeigh/anthrax-mail American terrorism!

There is nothing to stop that from happening tomorrow given the condition of our national security. I'm sure if the Demonrats get in office they will find reasons to keep the war going, after all, most wars have been promoted by demonrats.
I don't see the demonrats as being electable even if they painted themselves red, white, and blue. They are a bunch of bozo's, besides, I'm pretty sure Bush's pandering will pay off at the polls without my support, or any conservatives support, given the field of candidates.

A real easy way of making our country safer is to institute an Alaska style CCW program. That'd go a long way towards cleaing things up right there and the government wouldn't have to spend a dime of the taxpayers money.

I sure hope you're not an example of a defender of your position.
You're a flyweight dude.

You can not fly, but are you going to stay home ALL of the time ?
The people in the Towers weren't flying in a plane! You have NO idea WHERE the next " hit " could be.
You won't care what the budget is, if you're killed, or someone you love is.

You know, during eight years of Bill Clinton, the Arab terrorists managed to build up their forces to the point where they were able to kill three thousand Americans on Sept 11, 2001. That's less than four hundred deaths per year.
Out-of-control federal spending could destroy this country. It's not a bookkeeper's nightmare, it's a nightmare for all of us. There have been many countries which have fallen down the path of bankruptcy followed by universal impoverishment followed by dictatorship and war.
No, as a matter of fact, I'm far more concerned with the threat of out of control federal spending -- and illegal immigration amnesty -- than I am with what Osama Boogieman will crash an airplane into ten years from now.

If you weren't a Bush supporter from day one, how in the hell do you expect us to think you were a Bush supporter 3, 2 or even 1 year(s) ago?
I wish just once, one of you 3rd party rally boys/girls would be honest and admit you didn't support him as President in 00 and won't support him in 04 nor will you support any "REPUBLICAN" who does not fit your narrow definition of "CONSERVATIVE".
You are afterall, to the TRUE CONSERVATIVE movement:

ANY pork in it.You do know that all of that "pork" is going to voters in their states don't you? I think you may be under the false impression that the voters really want small government. One mans's pork is another man's "vital program".

They sleep with Bush's enemies, while stumping for a Kerry/UN victory.
They are "pitchforks" who care only about money and mexicans, at a time of war.
I call them C-span callers!!

Did you ever support the President? Seriously.

Yes I did. I have voted republican in every election I have ever voted in, and I have not missed a vote. I voted for Bush Sr. twice, even after the read my lips mess.
I urged folks on FR to vote for Bush, when asked about him on FR I promoted him as a Father figgure. I worked to get my fellow employee's registered and informed. I stood with other Freepers on the street corners in two cities demanding an end to the Florida recount.
I was very hopeful that Bush would make us proud. To say the least I'm disappointed, to say the most, given the damage he has managed to inflict in the past four years, I'm terrified of what he can do in the next four regarding our sovereignty and existance as a Constitutional Republic because of his attitude towards globalization, illegals, and the FTAA treaty.
Sure, we have the same worry from a demonrat, but at least ya'll would be on my side and not sticking your fingers in your ears going lalalala when I say this treaty is dangerous. So the answer is, yes, I did support him, but no longer.
It is not my fault that he prefers the company of liberals who hate his guts, to the company of conservatives who he seems to consider an embarassment.
