TV is a curse so much of the time. I know when the Milky Way commercial comes on, I forage in the freezer for one of those mini bars my husband loves. I got pretty much off of white refined anything. I use something called 'real salt' instead of the regular, and watch the sodium content in stuff. You can't tell what you're eating in restaurants any more, so we've cut back on that, too. If I don't take care of my diet, I will die. That's how it is right now. I was very sick for about three years and TV, refined foods, lack of exercise and too many sweets almost killed me.

Thanks for understanding my points. I am used to the foaming at the mouth bunch on this board attacking me for insinuating "government" control.

As we know, there is good government control, and there is bad one. The good ones will favor good things for the public at large, and the bad ones will favor the interest of lobbyists.
