Let beans soak overnight in the refrigerator.
Put all ingredients in slow cooker/Crock Pot and cook on low about 4 hours. If the beans are cooked but the "gravy" is too thin, you may have to boil the beans on the stove until it is thicker, or place about a third into blender, then stir in.
Remove bay leaf, and serve over cauliflower florets.
