Rolling Rock Green Light has 2.6 g/12 oz. It's not real beer, but it's better than Miller Lite or Michelob Ultra, the two very low carb alternatives.

Anyone have numbers on 'typical' pale ales or English-style bitters? Neither is particularly sweet, so I'm wondering what the average carb content is.

I would think that those types of beers would be in the 10 to 12 g per 12 oz. range. The reason that they're not sweet is that the hops balances out the sweet barley. They are high gravity beers. That's why in a black and tan, the Guiness floats on top of the Bass. You're probably better off just drinking a stout.
