I'm prepared to re-think the whole thing. After all, PETA tells us animals have feelings too. Shouldn't they be allowed to fall in love without having society dictate who is or is not an appropriate partner?
The real problem here is this whole Bible thumping, right wing, prejudice against inter-species marriage. Fortunately the Swedes take a far more enlightened view than Americans.
I don't really need the satire tag, do I?

Shouldn't they be allowed to fall in love without having society dictate who is or is not an appropriate partner? Oh, yes, how wonderful. Peta wants us to rethink the whole animal thing. They are so collectively proud of us right now for our 'enlightment'. It's time we let society know we won't tolerate any longer their interference in our partner choices. Thank goodness for the Swedes shining example to us all, one we will hopefully heed.
(Yes, more satire - hee hee.)
