Perhaps. But I don't see any reason to take such a risk. The liberal media has the ability to sway popular opinion against a "mean-sprited, cruel and hard-hearted, beholden to the wealthy" Republican congress. It wouldn't take much to end the Republican majority. Now it'd be wall-to-wall, unimpeded raw Marxist Democrat power. No thank you. Vote them out and keep them out!

That wouldn't stop them. They would just call on one of their appointed judges to legislate from the BENCH!
