I don't make any such claim. However, Bush stands head and shoulders (and all the way down to the ankles) over any Democrat in the field in the conservativism department. I agree wholeheartedly. I'm quite honestly at a loss. No matter who wins in November, we'll get further government expansion. There's truly no hope for any rollback of government largesse. I've resigned myself to the fact that the best we can do is support the administration who will wage smart foreign policy and take the hit domestically. Like you, I'll vote Bush come fall.
Makes it real hard to remain excited over politics, however...I doubt I'll be donating any money or time the way I did four years ago.

Well, we're not going to send Bush packing. And we're not going to surrender to the French either. The Goldwater president (if there is such an animal today) can roll in just as easily after Bush in 2008 as he can after any Democrat. And, in the meantime, we won't be needlessly suffering the long lasting effects of the liberal activists judges that would no doubt be appointed by the Democrat. Judges are forever.

sorry to call you crazy, but getting a democrat in office would be a disaster, for the judiciary, for the WOT, and for everyday Americans.
Democrats in the executive position would put SCOTUS who are staunchly liberal, which would expansion of Abortion (The litmus test for democratic judges), pulling away from the original intent of the second amendment, and revoking the tax cuts that have been enacted in the last few years.
I never want to see a repeat of 9-11, and having a softball democrat in office would give the US a big red bullseye on each of our heads. I won't stand by and let it happen.

Liberals in power don't know how to abuse the power of Executive Orders! Remember Clinton!
Go 3rd party! That has to be one of the most moronic and asinine statements I've seen posted.
"Liberals don't know how to abuse the power of Executive Orders"??? What are you on? Liberal presidents, Clinton especially, have been the epitome of the abuse of power and the abuse of all executive privileges and powers.
Remembering Clinton and how he was elected is the primary reason to refute this destructive undermining for a "true" conservative third party.

Hogwash. You're right! With such a convincing argument, how can I not agree. I take back everything I just wrote!

I suspect that's because 90% of the posts consist of "Attaboy!" and "PING!". Not much of substance here, and certainly not much of any length.

I know...but when I see nonsense like this
(Judge Walton has ruled that the BOR does not apply to the Federal Territory of D.C.) I just want to throw my laptop through the wall. I know for a fact that W is Pro-gun...I voted for him over that b#tch Ann Richards because of this very issue. I know there is a reason W appointed this man, but I can't figure it out yet. Is the judge pro-life...I don't know.
My hope is that he is triangulating the Dems for the final smackdown when he is re-elected.

Excellent post, unless one's leanings are toward our military wearing blue helmets, condoning the taking of innocent lives, and praising judges who mock our Constitution with their own ideology, irrefutable.
But wouldn't a Democratic president be stopped by the GOP gridlock in Congress?

AMEN! We don't need higher taxes, more liberal/social engineering judges, more gun grabbing. Our military under Slick was drastically cut, under funded, all to many were on food stamps, because they didn't get pay raises. Which Dubya has given them several. Our military under the RATS was used as meals on wheels, and we got things like Black Hawk Down. Secrets given to China, bad deals cut with N Korea.
We may not always agree with Dubya on issues, but he is the BEST man for the job now.
Sit home and we get a return to all those things we've been gripping about for the past few years under Slick. Vote third party and it's the same.
I've found you often have to dig into what his proposals are to find out the media only gives you the sound bite they want you to hear. There is usually "accountability" in his plans. Something lacking with the RATS.
God Bless America and GW Bush.

The WOT is the one and only issue IMHO....we can't afford to lose it and we all know where the rats stand on this issue...our defense will be depended on by the UN.

Give Bush four more years and he'll be the conservative you want. Once Bush is re-elected, which will most likely happen, I see not one of these unconservative measures, he pushed in order to be re-elected, being overturned. Why? Because there will be the GOP candidate in 2008 to worry about. And so on and so fourth.
No matter who is in power, the policies will continue, especially by the GOP, to move to the left and government to increase.
