Socialism stinks as much on the municipal level as it does on the state or Federal levels. Why does the taxpayer have to certain forms of entertainment, such as professional sports and "public" TV? As much as I despise the content and news reporting of the major networks and the liberal newspapers and magazines, at least they don't try to steal my money. If Michael Eisner and Rupert Murdoch can keep their hands out of my pockets, so should Jerry Jones and Mark Cuban (owner of the Dallas NBA franchise).

Spend a Billion Dollars, for a stadium? The government is in no position to pay for the cost. The spend more than they earn. If the government earns more than it spends then the government should lower taxes. Only then companies will flock to Dallas for business.

This week Houston has the Super Bowl. From what I see down here the Super Bowl is for millionaires. They have to shut down 2 run ways in Hobby to accommodate all the private jets. Everytime I think of this it just burns me up that I am paying for the facilities to house the millionaires.
