I certainly think we need to lean on Bush to do the right thing in some areas were he is weak. My list would include immigration policy, spending policy, vouchers, and cleaning out the clintonoids that he has inexplicably let stay in so many agencies and branches of our government.

But he is sound on the basics, and he is smart enough to know that you have to give a little on some issues to get what you want on the most important ones. He is, I believe, very strong on the most important ones: defense of life, defense of our country, and appointment of sane judges to a crazed judiciary.

I couldn't agree more. I have problems with some of the president's actions, but I wouldn't have anyone BUT him in the White House at this time. It will be shown in time that a REAL leader is what we need and he fits the bill. I think the problems we have with the things you mentioned will, over time, be worked out.

Actually, I think it would be better to lean on your Congressman/woman to do their jobs, and work on projects, the President has proposed.

He proposes, we let Congress know how we feel, they make the changes, then he signs the bills.

To quote an old Seinfield episode..."YOU are a step skipper!" ;-)
