You've got NO IDEA as to Dr Keyes' motivations, lady. None whatsoever. It's just as possible that, after what the GOP machine did to Buchanan and McClintock, his wife begged him not to run.

The truth is this: Alan declared his support for the reelection of the President well over a year ago, as did I.

He is, and always been, a loyal Republican.

Here's a clue: when a sentence begins with "I don't think..." it generally means it's the writer's personal opinion, not a documented fact.
