What happens is, Keyes' points make RINOs restless. They don't have the ammunition or the intellectual capacity to address the points he makes, so they start in with the nitpicking about his delivery.
Except that that's clearly not what the poster here (I forget his screenname) expressed. Not only did the content not make him restless, he said he responded favorably to the written text of the speech. That alone appears to blow your "theory" out of the water. What he said was that the demeanor and style of Keyes makes him think the guy is a little weird--I am paraphrasing, but that's how I took it. And I happen to agree.

I have had the good fortune to hear Dr. Keyes speak live on three seperate occasions and the reaction is ALWAYS the same! I think they consider him a threat. Come to think of it, they (the RINOS) are probably right in that regard.
