I was moved to reply to you because I share your shame and outrage. I've been told by some that the only reason he supports Arafat and the PLO is to prevent the persecution of Christians in the Holy Land by islamics. But as far as I'm concerned that's a load of crap. The Lord said "blessed are they that are persecuted for my names sake"...not blessed are they who cooperate with eveil to avoid persecution! Michel Sabbah is in league with the devil.
How on earth does he equate Palestinian control over our the Holy Land as a deterrent to persecution by Arabs? It would seem to follow that giving control to Muslim crazies as opposed to civilized Jews would accomplish just the opposite.
I'm feeling naive here, but maybe you can clue me in to his apparently warped logic.
