Better to deteriorate for two years and finnish the job than live with it for the rest of your life. How long would the American people put up with this if it happened in one of our neighbor hoods. The Israelis have been puting up with this for way to long and it is time to put a stop to it.

The Israelis have been puting up with this for way to long and it is time to put a stop to it. Believe me, most of the Israeli government is in favor for doing what is needed. However, the US government has other ideas. And Israel cannot afford to lose US veto power in the UN or risk "peace-keepers" being sent into Israel by force.
