Great, a bit of competition will be good for Fox News Channel.

One of the nations newest and fastest-growing TV news networks says it's tired of left-leaning news reporting and wants to offer Americans a fair and balanced perspective, just as Fox News Channel does.Sounds good to me. Fair and balanced reporting is what folks want. Any media outlet that offers news with a center right tilt and can legitimately discredit the mainstream liberal media, will get my support all day long.

I always welcome more fair and balanced news. The only place you can get it is FOX News and on occasion at MCNBC.

I've often seen Mark Hyman's 90 second commentaries on channel WBFF-45 in Baltimore, and marveled at the fact that I almost always agreed with what he was remarking on. Now I know why.
This is the first positive thing I've read about Sinclair. Sinclair is much maligned on the HDTV forums that I often frequent, due to their anti-HDTV technical stance. At least they have something good going for them.

As Hyman puts it, "The left's real beef is who controls the microphone. We're not liberal. We're not providing a slanted view. And that's what really angers them."Another news media has zoned in on the Liberal's slanted view! Hooray!! Great news indeed. :)

well, I hope they have the cash to go HDTV when the law requires it.. Educate me. Are we in danger of losing a large number of stations at some predetermined point in time if they do not have enough money to go HDTV? That would be so wrong.

But does Sinclair have the Fox News Babes ???
To: MamaLucci
I bought a satellite system before Fox News Channel came on air simply because in my rural area the cable would not carry Fox! After about two or three years, they all now carry Fox. I love Fox, but want more options that go to every home without cable, i.e. ABC,NBC,CBS. Is there a chance what you are describing can come on local channels if they chose--OR WE INSIST??
