Heck, maybe we can be a two-fer for the TBL show. There is a certain madness in crowds. I eschew them.

I've been a bush supporter for a long time. In fact, I'm even on board with his amnesty plan (but let's not change the topic). This one has me ready to call it quits and not vote this year!

I would rather have Clinton at least he passed welfare reform and grew gov't at a slower pace. I'm really starting to believe we need a split congress and exec branch. When one party has it they spend too much money.

Freepers aren't unappeasable, madame.

They'd settle for conservative crumbs from this president, in amongst his generous portions for the liberals. It's your ego that drives this back-to-the-wall attack on the President's critics, here. You just refuse to admit you've been wrong about him.

Unpleasables? This is a President that has increased spending at a greater rate than any President since Lyndon B. Johnson, who one the biggest socialist in the history of the nation. That's a lot to be unpleased about it.

A further thought: would it not be best, if the upwelling of dissent about the President's recent liberal leanings were given free rein, here? I try not to over or underestimate FR's influence, but surely if the message went out that such a large website, which had been previously supportive, was now united in dismay, that would add weight to the other messages of dissatisfaction GWB must be receiving. Let's face it nopardons, unless the President stops burning his base the election's going to be a nailbiting cliffhanger, and the debates here on FR won't be any picnic either.

I consider myself to be part of his base. He has finally lost me, however. I couldn't care less if he gets reelected.

I know it is difficult to handle the truth of the President we all looked up to for so long turning out to be a fraud. Just accept it and move on.
