The way to destroy the Democrats over this is to propose a tough enforcment policy against Illegals that will cut deeply into Seniors, Moderates, Independents, Blacks, and Women. Offer an Illegal Alien plan that actually contrasts significantly with that of the Democrats.

You want a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate? Get tough on Illegals while the Democrats are pushing Amnesty.

This President won't do that, and a huge opportunity will have been squandered.

It's my sense that conditions are quite ripe for a tough enforcement policy. I've talked with "moderate" Democrats who are as disgusted with the illegal amnesty proposal as I am.
