FYI

According to its Financial Summary for FY 2002, the National Endowment of the Arts received almost a $100 million dollars from the Federal Government.

Thanks. I was just looking it up myself. It looks like it's gonna be just under 130 million for 2004.

A mere drop in the bucket!! ;-)

According to its Financial Summary for FY 2002, the National Endowment of the Arts received almost a $100 million dollars from the Federal Government.

That would have paid for at least 1,000 border gaurds (a 40% increase and 40,000 handguns for airline pilots ( a 95% increase) which we do not presently have deployed during our current "war on terror". 'Bout says it all.
