In the enhanced list available at healingiraq.blogspot.com, one finds under French recipients the name Bernarde Merime. This is almost assuredly Jean-Bernarde Merimee, a French Foreign Ministry powerhouse. Merimee was former French Ambassador to Belgrade, (where he was notoriously anti-Serb) and rep to the UN (where he was known to have a close personal relationship with Tariq Aziz). He was later named President of the UN Security Council.

Another name that pops out is Roberto Formigoni, President of the Lombardy region of Italy, and Vice President of the European Paliament. His contacts with Iraq go back to 1990.
