So far nothing in the news. But a story on what superbowl rings mean to their wearers is breaking, I guess that overshadows something like this.

A 22-year-old Dallas man apparently hanged himself early this morning from an overpass spanning a busy highway intersection in southwest Dallas.

The incident caused a traffic jam that lasted more than two hours.

The man's name was unavailable this afternoon, pending notification of his family.

A Dallas police spokeswoman said officers were summoned at 7:18 a.m. to the overpass near the intersection of Spur 408 and Interstate 20, about a mile and a half southeast of Mountain Creek Lake.

Traffic was backed up in the area for about two hours as officers worked to recover the man's body and complete their investigation.
