Searched both News/Activism and General Interest. Nada.

Stay in California. You wouldn't last in the South.

Bless your heart Rev - lighten up.
We Southerners can laugh at our "southerness" - we love our "southerness". Is it that you are feeling left out?
Get the chip off and join in. :o)

There it is. I've argued this point with my wife for YEARS. She still insists on calling the evening meal 'dinner'.

Agree.

4. We all started hunting and fishing when we were seven years old. Yeah, we saw Bambi. We got over it.

Compared to a Pennsylvania White Tail their Bambi is nothing more than an overgrown jack rabbit. I can understand why they have to supplement their hunting season with fishing. ;-)

Thinking the same thing here... good ole rural PA!

I believe you have demonstrated another difference between the North and the South. We don't have to go cerebral about EVERYTHING. Lighten-up.

One of the best things about living is the South is the pace of life and the quality. We can take a joke, laugh at ourselves, and make fun of things. Southerners are probably the first to laugh at the "camaro on blocks" jokes. Humor is an essential part of the Southern culture.

There are things in that swamp you haven't seen on any nature show.

I've heard the ghost of Lucius Clay gets up and walks around ;)
