actually i was thinking a little bit more about in state legislative races, at the lower levels. this way CP guys could govern in majorities, but not be taken for granted because majorities would know that they are REAL conservatives.

i don't know if the CP allows that. but i would reckon that they don't encourage that. but the sort of absolutist stand is why people say credibly that the CP is the same as voting D. which is enough to make any conservative puke.
