by absolutist stand i mean only that the CP is the one true conservative party, conservative through and through...absolutely.
you got a problem with that?
the point is that since the CP is completely and absolutely conservatie they probably dont want to collaborate with the gop on co-nominations.

Great ideas for those who have the discretionary time and dollars---but I don't.But you've got time to bitch and moan on an internet message board. I get it.
If something is important you'll MAKE the time. Giving up on the most conservative of the two electable parties is cowardly, in my opinion. Such actions aren't "bitter medicine" for the leadership; indeed, RINOs like Lincoln Chaffee would probably be happy with you leaving the party, so their influence within it can grow.
This party is indeed big enough to sustain internal debate and strife, but throwing up ones hands and walking away is to leave this country to the wolves of the Democrat Party Operatives. And no one should wish that fate to befall our citizens.

by absolutist stand i mean only that the CP is the one true conservative party, conservative through and through...absolutely. and i would add that they have little chance to win anywhere but would likely only draw off gop votes...which has been pointed out here ad infinitum.

No, a vote for the Constitution Party is a vote for the Constitution Party.since this fine (really!) party can not garner the support to win, it will result in a DemocRat commie winning
Since I don't expect to be casting the deciding vote, my vote will solely send a message, and I'm not sure I want that message to be, "Dubya reflects my views more closely than the Constitution Party."
To: Coop
You sound sillier all the time. I can now understand why you don't post too much. Sir, you may or may not understand the reason I do not post often, but you certainly have managed to exemplify it. Kodus

since the CP is completely and absolutely conservatie they probably dont want to collaborate with the gop on co-nominations.I'd guess that they'd allow any Republican who wanted to campaign for the CP nomination, and that the reason you don't see any conominations is that the CP doesn't bother to run candidates against conservative Republicans, while RINOs don't want CP scrutiny.

The time I spend on FR wouldn't make a dime's worth of difference if switched to in-party activism.

How is voting third-party in any given race "giving up on" the GOP?

Did this "Conservative Coulter Fan" have any previous banned incarnations, if known at this time?

Was this supposed to make me feel bad, discredit me or something? Is talking/posting allot make a person smarter or something? I just get a little suspicious when someone starts defending an obvious troll post, particularly in the way you did, by being critical of the forum overall.
For the record, I am no BushBot. In fact, I am pretty fed up with him. The fact that the Bots defend him primarily by pointing to the obviously awful competition does nothing to alleviate the tremendous shortcomings Bush is showing with regard to fiscal conservatism, the inconsistencies in fighting the WOT while our borders are wide-open and refusing to follow laws regarding immigration, signing unconstitutional pieces of legislation a la CFR, etc., etc. I wish there was an alternative to Bush that was viable. I admire him in many ways, but he has some major failings that I can not ignore.
But when relative newbies start flaming him, especially during campaign season, it naturally brings out the zot patrol. And when other relative newbies with small numbers of posts start defending the trolls, it is suspicious. FR will be overrun this year by sleepers and trolls ... so the mods and others are on a hair trigger.
