London, Jan 28, SPA -- Prince Turki Al-Faisal, the Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland, has shed light on the policy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its role in the Middle East. Lecturing at ST. Anders University in Scotland on Tuesday evening, Prince Khalid said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia maintains friendly relations with all countries.

He pointed out that King Abdulaziz at his meeting with Former US President Franklin Roosevelt in 1945, had reiterated the independent policy of the Kingdom, as well as its great concern with the Palestinian problem.

'With the grace of the Almighty Allah the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has successfully faced the challenges', he added.

Prince Khalid highlighted the important role played by late King Faisal bin Abdulaziz during the Arab-Israeli war in 1973 for the service of the Arab causes.

Was there a pali problem in 1945? Thought all palis were in Jordan before they were thrown out for being troublemakers.

"Saudi Ambassador To UK Cites Saudi Induced '73 Oil Crises As Service To Arab Causes"

This was taken as a headline from the IMRA website which linked to this article. Maybe they messed up.

Yes, I see that: http://www.imra.org.il/story.php3?id=19595

They needed to make some sort of tie-in to their headline.

Thanks.
