Kay is great.....no prisoners...not the fat man, the beast or levin touched him....... Yet in the end it probably doesn't matter. Another poster astutely (IMHO) pointed out that tomorrow's headlines will probably read "Kay: We Were All Wrong!"

When you say, "We were wrong about WMD," you are collapsing and over-simplifying the argument. Hello? Am I David Kay? HE said it. Not me. He flatly said we were all wrong. This is the President's delegate. His expert. I'm taking his testimony pretty seriously, as you would be if the news were more to your liking.

...AND SAVED LIVES
OK, she's right. It may have saved +300 lives of our soldiers. But it would have cost thousands of iraqi and american civilian lives in the future. Its the net that counts.

Batchelor has a good show, chock-ful-of info most nights. Gotta take alot of his guests opinions with a grain of salt though.

But I also heard him say WE WERE ALL WRONG. The two facts are not irreconcilable. Kay's opinion is not a fact.

Are you actually quoting Kay's words? This is amazing. The man is not the least intimidated by Kennedy?

They have found miles of docs that have yet to be translated. People can lie and obfuscate, but those docs will tell the tale. I just hope we don't get bit on the behind in the meantime.
To: Peach
I heard him say that. I also heard him say WE WERE ALL WRONG. I think that's pretty hard to misinterpret. He is saying our intelligence was WRONG. Could we still find stuff? Sure. But the basis of our actions was our intelligence, and we are now being told--by the President's own delegate--that that intel was wrong.

killing innocents in Iraq Did the witch actually say that. If so the republicans should jump all over that.
I wonder how many of our soldiers died trying to avoid civilian casualties and paid the ultimate price.

The fact that he said we were all wrong is a fact. So is the fact that he said we might still find something. Those two facts are not irreconcilable. Hope this helps.
