For the rest of us we have the priviledge of struggling in an economy being strip mined of semi-skilled and now skilled white and blue collar jobs while helping to pay the tab for both the ethnic racketeering initiatives and the maintenance of a global politico-military presence

If the economy is struggling so much, how come the standard of living has never been higher. Fifty years ago(the good old days) we wouldn't be having this converstaion via cyberspace.

There have always been negative people like you, but look we are going stronger than ever.

That must eat you up inside.

A social order sustained by massive private and public debt does not represent a desirable polity. Further the debt pyramid is sustained by encouragement to continually increase spending via consumerism. We are taught that happiness consists in accumulating luxury goods and new variants of items already owned. The persuit of glitter and false luxury are presented as the highest values of the social order and the substitute for the rank and file for either meaningful political power or worthwhile personal lives.
As for the internet it is one of those serendipitious features of the electronic economy which I am quite sure , the leadership class deeply regrets allowing to emerge.

Yeah. Both parties are sending the country to hell in a hand basket, but at least we can chat about it on a useless message board...
