Just so everyone that wants to, "Wife-Unit" and I scoped the parking situation down at the beginning of the Metro "Train of Death" line...
Just go like yer ghoing to Astroworld...Take the new section of Fannin south (south of the 610 loop) and go down to the...I think its the first light...I may be wrong...My memory fades due to a B-12 deficiency...yeah right...
Anyway the Metro parking lot is to your left (you can't miss it)...Its $2 to park all day...And the all-day MetroRail ticket is also $2 a head...That way you won't be rushed...
I believe the lot is fairly secured, it is manned for the most part to get yer money at least...
So we plan to be there in time to meet all who wish to ride in on the "Train of Death" at 5:00pm Saturday after next...
Look forward to seeing everyone...
Later,
Steve

Humidston checking in here, Flyer/HG/etal. Hubby sick with a cowd. I'm feeling semi-crummy tonight. Not sure about long range (or short range for that matter).
I should know by tomorrow whether or not I'm going to take a fall with the Kleenex box and the nose spray and I'll report in then.

Cabos won't allow hats, caps, tennis shoes or blue jeans.I ain't going out to party in a place that won't allow blue jeans. I wear slacks for work not for play!!
Might have to trim the list a little bit.

I see the photo there on the top of the thread, at Mucky Duck. I met a bunch of you there: Dix, Eaker, anymouse, BobbyD, ChaseR, HumbleGunner, etc. My son and I attended. We left early. Had to go shoe shopping for him.
I won't make it to the Sunday party. I WOULD HAVE, but I am still in Denver and won't be back in Houston in time. We will leave here tomorrow and drive to Childress (half way) then we will stop in Austin Sun. to visit our lovely UT daughter. I hope to make it to a future HAT meeting!
