It seems many have forgot that the current violence was directly related to Clinton's plan of "peace with a deadline" to try and win him a Nobel Peace Prize. Things were settling down over there and it looked like peace could very well happen, but Clinton's term in office was nearing an end. He had to stir things up to win his prize, even if it killed everyone in the Mideast.

I support the concept of using Bill Clinton's invaluable foreign policy experience, but not in the Middle East. He should be appointed as our Martian envoy, just as soon as NASA builds a rocket big enough to lift his blubbery figure into space.

I agree and making Israel cave in was the way he calculated he would get his legacy, his Nobel Peace Prize, his name in history books as the man who had the vision to bring peace to the Middle East.
