This is the "Wife" side.
Just like VA, they always call me "Sir" too. "Dear Sir"
But I forgive ya!
If you ever want to read a small book, see our profile :o)
God Bless!

No please, no reason to be embarrassed!!! It's mostly me who posts, and *rarely* husband. It is HUSBAND first in our name! I should sign it VW, or something. You're not the first to ask or be confused. Besides, he is a one finger typer, and I'm a fast typist.
:o)
When we first joined it was just Female_Vet because I found the forum first. However, we are both addicted to FR and freep daily if we can. In fact, I would wager he spends more time surfing here than I do!
We just changed the name when we moved back to California from Oklahoma. He is my expert on aviation matters, and he ranked higher militarily than I did, as he was an Aviation Battalion Commander (though I'm called the *General* by old military acquaintences) :o)
So, it was an easy mistake. It just cracked me up, because it was like the VA forms I get.
FRegards, VW

A wonderful tribute to Rush; especially meaningful coming as it does from an ex-Lib. . .
Rush is incredible and we can surely know that no one will ever write with such heartfelt appreciation their gratitude to Alfranken or the 'alfrankens' of the world.
Bump and a 'dittos' for Rush~!

They shouldn't though. Not when you're a 100 percent service connected disabled Vet. Call it a *respect* thing, but it really bugs me. Especially with my name. It isn't a name that could be mistaken for a guys name.
To: writer33
The U.S. Constitution defines a conservative, and Rush is the epitome of that philosophy.
Thank you for so eloquently expressing my same feelings and congrats for being able to talk to Rush himself!
My only regret is that I am unable to recommend or provide a "cyber proctologist" to take care of all the unwanted anti-Rush a&&holes on this particular thread!
Their emergence is to be expected but their unasked for comments are reminiscent of the uninvited guest to a birthday party who shows up only to bad mouth the birthday boy......

Good job both with this piece and with the call to Rush.
I'd have been so nervous I'd have sounded like I was spitting canned corn.

Great article, writer33, keep up the good work. And thank you for using all the right words, to let Rush know how important he is to us.

Read Russell Kirk first.Then,seek help
Read who? Never heard of him, don't really care who he is and you are a Canadian socialist. I would suggest you seek help but given the state of canadian health care, you might not be given the help you really need until probably July......
Come on over brother, we can get you an appointment next Tuesday.....

I was nervous. My hands were shaking. I felt as if I were about to go down the initial slope of a rollercoaster after the long, slow climb.

My problem with those that claim to be his 'friends'. What they are doing is quite a disservice to him by attacking the prosecutor
My problem is with you and your ilk on this particular thread!
There are various threads discussing Rush's ALLEGED indiscretions but this one ain't it! UNDERSTAND???????
You and your anti-Rush comments are not welcome here on this thread, this is not what this thread was started for.
Let me put it in perspective for the dimwitted around here:
This is ClintonBeGone's birthday thread so let's all of us anti-ClintonBeGone folks stop by and deposit our excrement just to spoil his party...........

Does this make you the 1st Freeper to be recognized by Rush Limbaugh on the air? Have any others made it?
BIG ATTA BOY!!

"...There is absolutely no excuse for his getting involved with such unsavory people..."
What unsavory people?...The doctors he got the prescriptions from?...His listeners?..come on, pal, who?
Or are you giving credence to scurrilous unfounded accusations from those who attempted to blackmail him, with no proof at all?
Who's the disgrace here, really?

*Great* essay, and congrats on it being recognized as so by the Maha Rushie himself. Quite an honor. And well-deserved.
