Something about this story stinks. Not the original event perhaps - but the phone call out of the blue right before Iowa, the anti-Bush remarks, etc.
I DO NOT believe this unfolded at all like we are being told.

Good point. I think it's because they have to look high and low just to find someone on their side who has any credibility on defense at all. (Today's Democrats are a bunch of appeasers and grey-haired "teenagers" whose growth stunted in 1967, imo.)
