Oh, the horror. Shootouts in Des Moines, Iowa. Spent many childhood vacations there visiting relatives and it always seemed so peaceful and innocent. Uncontrolled illegal immigration has reached the Mid-West.

Jorge Perez-Castillo, 23, of Guatemala was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and four counts of attempted murder. He allegedly was firing at police while driving a truck and trying to flee his pursuers. So what's the problem here? Crapola like that goes on in eastern San Diego County, day after day after day. Wake me when they start using AR-15's and M-79s.

Unfortunately, it has. Big demand for illegal aliens to work in the large corporate hog confinements around here so that the owners can get away with paying them substandard wages and offering no benefits. One just got busted for it, but the practice continues.

It is rapidly becoming a major problem here in Iowa. Especially with the Meth traffic.
