New 9/11 audio is being released today played at the 9/11 Commission hearing. Flight attendant Betty Ong calling the American Airlines reservation desk regarding the hijackers taking over American Airlines Flight 11 Boeing 767, before it struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

I was just about paralyzed for the next day or so.

I know that feeling. When I got to my office late that afternoon, I suppose I was somewhat in shock -- at least that's what one of the few people who was still there when I arrived told people the next day. Apparently, I went from stunned and silent to babbling and manic. I don't remember much of the next few days, other than my dad pretty much leading me around and taking care of me.

Wow... I'd like to hear more about that. How did they know it was the same guys?

Honestly, I don't really remember all the details -- remember, she was telling me this like 2 days after the attacks. I think they were shown pictures, or maybe she saw pics in the newspapers. But both she and her fiance recognized them.

Much of that first week is still a blur to me, but I *think* that one of the ones who nearly crashed into them was Mohammed Atta. They were definitely from one or both of the planes that hit NYC, because I remember both of us getting weirded out when we realized the "connection" between us because of this.

What they noticed was that these guys met up in the parking lot with some other Arab-looking guys in a van or SUV or something, and were furiously exchanging boxes and packages between the two vehicles.

I don't know about everybody else here, but I get furious when I hear people questioning why we went to war in Iraq and Afghanistan...memories seem to be so short here in the U. S.! I think this horrible deed of 9-11 needs to be put in people's faces every now and then!They attacke dus first!Sorry, but I just had to rant a little.

Do you remember the documentary about one of the fire houses, that was being filmed when we were attacked? They completed the documentary, and aired it on tv later, careful to leave out any and all graphic images. As I was watching the firemen milling about the lobby of one of the twin towers, I kept hearing a strange noise in the background. Thud. Thud. Thud. I've never confirmed it, and I could be wrong, but I came to the conclusion that it was the sound of bodies hitting the ground. That's the sound that wakes me up at night, still to this day.

I just got sick and furious all over again. This is why we can not have another dem in the Whitehouse. This is the crowning achievement of Clinton's legacy. 8 years of the religion of peace being babied and not dealt with adequately. Never again. I dare say that no arab sympathizers in the US will vote for Bush. I am very proud of that, and it should be the headline of every newspaper.

That's amazing. I presume your friend and her fiance were interviewed extensively by intelligence authorities

I don't know if you'd call them intelligence, but they were interviewed by the FBI a few times -- first screened over the phone (I suppose to screen them and make sure they're not sociopaths or anything like that), then a significantly more extensive one in person.

Does anyone have a list of all foreign and domestic black eyes on the Clinton watch. I have tried doing searches, but am really bad at them. Including Waco, etc. I am putting together a list for a teacher friend of mine, that I no longer work with. She is now the lone voice of reason in my old hallway, and we used to quite effectively give one teacher in particular little strokes during the last election. She has emailed me requesting some help, now that she is alone. Obviously terrorism is a big reason to keep W in the House.

Watched a show about 9-11, think on the Discovery Channel, the other night Mainly about people who took pictures as soon as they heard of the attack.

When it showed the second plane hitting the second tower I felt the knife stab deep in my heart again.

When it showed the falling bodies I was filled with fury and hatred for the attackers. The fact that these innocent people were put in a position to jump to their deaths or be
burned to death is the hardest thing for me to accept.

When it showed the hundreds of posters on a wall, people looking for their loved ones, I completely lost it - again.

9-11 has changed many things. Since then my heart has become very hard and cold when it comes to terrorists and anyone that aids and defends them. I want them to all rot in hell.
