When it comes to spoiled Hollywood behavior, Al Franken can apparently stay right with the best ... er, worst of them. As hundreds of reporters and other newspeople were waiting patiently for anywhere up to three hours to get on flights back to their newsrooms, or on to New Hampshire, after the Iowa caucuses, Al Franken decided that the wall to wall peoplefest at the Des Moines arport was not for him.
The New York Post's Page Six reports that a "frenzied Franken marched to the front of the line."
One witness told Richard Johnson and his staff: "He threw a complete drama queen snit. He went up to the security check-in and kept whining, 'I can't miss my flight!' - but the security guards wouldn't even entertain it."
Other journos were not happy with the new, whining voice of Liberal radio. They told the Post: "There were a lot of other players in the line and we were all shouting at him, 'Hey, we're here too!'"

Stuart Smalley needs to visit a support group or something.

Dean may pick him as a logical running mate.

Here's the NY Post version referenced above:
LEFT-wing shill Al Franken is as big a spoiled brat as any Hollywood star. As hundreds of journalists patiently waited up to three hours to catch flights out of over-packed Des Moines Airport following the Iowa Caucus, a frenzied Franken marched to the front of the line. "He threw a complete drama queen snit," says a witness. "He went up to the security check-in and kept whining, 'I can't miss my flight!' - but the security guards wouldn't even entertain it." The reporters weren't amused: "There were a lot of other players in the line and we were all shouting at him, 'Hey, we're here too!'"

The airport incident also has been discussed on the thread about Franken attacking a LaRouchie heckler,
here. Gosh darn it, Al, people
don't like you!

Attention, egalitarian liberofascists! The pseudoceleb Franken demands privileges, and he must deny them to you so the greater benefit he provides society may be realized.
What a hypocrit.

With this, Franken has just pooped in his own bath water. It's fine with the media if he acts like this when there's a conservative on the other end. But it's an entirely different matter when he pulls those stunts on them.
Mr. Franken should have learned a lesson from the Clymer incident -- the media's response was pretty much silent assent to Bush and Cheney's little exchange, because Clymer had been a Clymer for a long time, to everybody.

If Dennis Miller were pulling this crap while campaigning for Bush, he'd be lambasted.

Franken's recent crappy behavior is probably an effort to raise his public profile so people will listen to his normally crappy talk.

Gee, I thought Franken was rich. Book sales, etc?
Why didn't Franken sell a lot of books titled "Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat (NOT) Idiot"????
Well Al Franken, you little wussy, looks who is the "idiot" now. Rush flys around in his private jet in the lap of luxury while you play crybaby flying commercial. Standing in line like cattle. Can you say "MOO!" Al Franken?
LOL!

"They told the Post: "There were a lot of other players in the line and " This just speaks volumes! I thought that all people were supposed to be equal in Liberals eyes?

They are equal... it's simply that they are more equal than the peasants.

Seems that Al is off his meds these days. I am looking forward to hearing him flip out on his radio show.

The Pig Boy should have been there to help out. His odor would have gotten them through.

There is something rather delusional about our Dem friends that causes them to get t-boned by reality again and again.
Who couldn't tell that Franken was a mental case, who thought this guy would make a good political commentator? This is a guy who not only plays a passive agressive bully on TV, he is one in real life and is unable to turn it on and off.
This is not going to be the big winner for the Dems that they think it will.

One of these days, Franken is going to pick the wrong patsy when he tries his patented WWE body slam. How's he going to do his radio show from a hospital bed in traction?
