Considering that the Bush administration has been in office just three short years and that they had the devastating 9/11/01 attacks and anthrax attacks occur just 7 1/2 months after the inauguration (thanks to the foreign policy negligence of Bill Clinton) I think the Bush record is nothing short of wonderful. Many people tend to forget this important point! If I hear one more time ( usually from Clark ) that Bush was "told" that Osama was the biggest threat to our national security and therefore GW was somehow "negligent" .....ummmm....so WHY was it that Clinton-in 8 years - didn't DO anything? (Just couldn't get a supoena issued in time, I guess....drat those liberal judges!!!). And don't forget the delay in intelligence briefings because of the recount fiasco.....and don't forget the total nonresponse of Clinton to the Cole bombing ( and the briefing memo that Drudge featured from the State Dept. that requested an understated reaction to the bombing so that we wouldn't "offend" anyone.......etc. etc. etc.).

Absolutely. I understand why President Bush chose not to point fingers at Clinton. He had a nation to keep together. But, if there is blame that should go to anyone other than the terrorists, that blame rests at the feet of William Jefferson Clinton and his monumentally negligent foreign policy.
