The original "talking point" was from Jesus. It's appropriate here as the blindness we seem to encounter on these threads is, in my opinion, truly a spiritual one. How else to explain, not the opposition to GWB, but the unbridles hatred.

Hatred? You have GOT to be kidding. You lower the import of the word as liberals do when they trot out their Hitler analogies. You engage in the same hyperbole as the left does when you demean and debase those who would disagree.
CFR was profoundly bad law. The President signed in knowing full well it was unconstitutional. Most people don't care since they don't engage in political free speech. Would you care if CFR were amened to encompass political forums such as this one?
Then there is the "Guest Worker" program, Sarbanes-Oxley, the expansion of government, et. al. -- these are not small things and principled conservatives are not engaging in hate when they state so.
President Bush has many great accomplishments to his credit, but this effort over the past few days to alientate and belittle those who would disagree is nothing short of hypocritical.
