Hint: It isn't happening with republican we have in the Whitehouse either. You really think it's gonna happen with Kerry or whoever the Democrats nominate? Do you really?

I am at the point were I can no longer in good consciense continue to vote for the lessor of two evils. So I am going to vote for the Constitution Party.

I respectfully disagree. In addition to the brilliance W has shown regarding the war on terror, he's also working to get as many conservatives in the courts as well, all the while robbing the Democrats of their "causes." As stupid and wrong as they were, look at how much milage the Dems used to get with their cartoons about shoving granny down the stairs in her wheelchair and with their screaming about Republicans starving the children! Even the usual "rise in the number of homeless" campaign attempts aren't working this time!
I believe W thinks we need a reasonable way to deal with the illegals who are here now (because deporting them en masse would be impossible!) before we can close our borders.
In W, we have a leader we can trust and respect. It's refreshing!

You don't seem to have knowledge about the first time drug users who have committed crimes, including murder.
It's in the newspapers fairly often, USA Today specifically. Especially crack users. Others as well.
Are you a drug user?

That should not be a criminal offense!! Tons of things devastate families - from gambling to alcohol. No one is encouraging others to do drugs. But, should the govt ban drugs because it is harmful! Then why don't we ban guns because clearly guns are lot more dangerous than drugs. It is asinine to ban drugs, because it only raises the price of drugs and increases other crimes. It makes no sense and it is not conservative to ban anything that is harmful.

***ANYONE WHO USES ILLEGAL DRUGS IS A CRIMINAL AND HAS NO MORAL AUTHORITY TO SAY THAT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS WRONG.***
Good clear thinking. Right on, Ohio.

Whatever your reasons, I'll never understand the logic of voting for another party that risks throwing the election to the real opposition because of one or two disagreements. The big picture is what matters!

Unfortunately that's a losing vote. It will be meaningless.
I've heard all the arguments. Some are valid. But it will still be throwing your vote away.
If we end up with a Democrat president, I do so hope you don't show up on these threads complaining just how much you hate HIS policies. Because it will be too late to work to elect a president who is taking care of national security and trying to get judges appointed who won't legislate from the bench.

None of your business. And none of govt's business either. I have seen lot worse from first time alcohol drinkers. No one is saying doing drugs is a great thing. But it should be a matter of individual responsibility and not upto the govt to ban.
To: FirstPrinciple
You want to legalize drugs? Have you read the articles coming out of Sweden and Norway recently? They want to undo their liberal laws regarding drugs. It has created a society of criminals. It has created a society of prostitutes. It has created a society of non-functioning citizens. This is what you want for this country? This is a conservative web site, not libertarian.

You brought it into our business when you espoused making that which is clearly illegal, legal. Your thinking is so flawed, I think I know the answer to my original question -whether you use drugs.
Really, you may wish to do a little research on this matter. Research especially those countries like Sweden who have come to regard their current laws as folly and dangerous but don't know how to fix the problem without creating chaos and a large expense of getting the addicted off of drugs.

Sure, throw your vote away. When you get Hilllary for president, you can take bows for helping to elect her.

It is not one or two disagreements, I am sick and tired of the leftest turn this administration has taken on a number of issues. And I am not throwing my vote away. How can that be If I vote for who I think is the best person running.

My husband just lived there a few years, he had come from growing up in Michigan.
You love California like I love Idaho. I have moved and traveled all over this country, but always miss the mountains, fresh clean rivers and streams. and I love the Idaho people.
I live in what is referred to as the "banana belt". Very warm for the most part, but have all the elk, deer, moose of high mountain areas. I live right on one of the most beautiful rivers in this country.
To: RiflemanSharpe
I sincerely that hope you give your choice of vote in the next presidential election some prayerful consideration.

If Bush loses it will be because he lost mine and others votes. He had my vote until he shifted to the left on several domestic issues. He then lost it.

Saw it. Heard all the arguments. Don't buy it. Still throwing vote away. Go for it. Just don't come here complaining later on when/if a Rat wins office. You are intelligent enough to know how many votes that party gets in national elections. Doesn't even amount to 1%. Maybe someday it will. But not without a lot of work. Which you could be doing for "your party" rather than complaining about the current party which is keeping us safe.
If we have another 9/11 day or worse, there won't be a domestic program left in the country to worry about.
